Good song to improve skills with?

I'm fairly new to FFR but I can do most of the songs below Standard and a couple at Standard level. I was just wondering if the quickest way to improve was to keep trying to get max Perfects on the easier songs or to struggle more with the harder ones. Thanks in advance for the advice.

you should do harder ones and as your fingers get faster don any one you want

A lot of people try to FC songs they can do easily, but when I can pass a song fairly well, I move on to the next difficulty. They both have there pros and cons. Say you are in multiplayer and you're facing someone your level. If you do the thing I do, Than you will be able to beat them on the harder songs, but most likely lose on the easy ones.

Don't do harder ones, all it does is intimidate you. Do ones that you can do, ones that you can get good comboes on for your skill level. Then you are just magically able to do harder ones with more arrows gradually.

That's not really true at all. If you're new to the game, stick to slightly easier levels around 3-5. Once you can read the arrows well though, the next thing you want to work on is speed, so you should move up a lot after you've gotten the hang of reading the arrows.

And I can read the arrows fairly well since quite a few of my friends play DDR. After watching them, reading arrows isn't all that hard. But I seem to have trouble with the combinations of up or down with left or right. Are there any good songs to practice those on?

And emccky, I'll go see if I can try those now.

I tried those two, but they were Difficult so they were too fast. >_<

Breaking the Common has been kinda known as a Milestone. Practice that. After a while you'll get used to the speeds and yeah.

I'm new also, but I've found that contra-distinction helps me out...I guess it's just different for everyone. Story of Snowman and Sunshine is also a good one for me.

try to play songs 1 leval above standered try `story of a snowman and sunshine girl` if u can play that than your good to go then keep pratcing until u have that song mastered then try harder levels like ` parachute stupid clowns` its a good song. any way hope this information helps you if you have any more questions email me at [email protected]

Just start doing something that is a little bit hard and move up as you get better.

i think they should add a oldies catogory like the 60`s 70`s and 80`s music my favorite is kansas, bob seager, the who and the eagles 8) uhh i guess this is the worng section to say this isn`t it o well

For the Snowman one, I got a Combo of 51.

Eagles would be fun because they have good music, but I guess you'd have to see the arrows first. And yeah, wrong section prolly. =P
