How many credits would be considered alot?

For someone who has played the game alot, has gotten good, then more or less quit FFR, like me, 40 000 credits is standard.
For a noob, 1000 credits or so is quite a bit.
If you've bought all the songs allready, and are sitting at about 5000, you're decent
