arrows not registering if pressed too fast/all at once

i have a logitech elite keyboard and for some reason, when i was on a level with a lot of arrows (most of the classical songs), i noticed that when i press the arrows too fast, i hear a beeping noise that my computer makes, and the buttons don't register. if i do it too much, the flash screen skips. this isn't only on ffr and stepmania, but those are the two things that it really effects. is there any way i can turn off this "feature" or should i use a different keyboard for ffr/stepmania?

Well, some users have said by turning off numlock, it has helped.

I have the same keyboard you have, wireless and non-wireless, and have never recieved this problem.

What type of computer do you have?

Logitech Corded Elites are the best. Yeah, it's your numlock. If it's not off, the arrow keys can't register more than two arrows at a time.
