    The man's guide to women.

Is women’s inferiority to men innate in their genetic structure? Did they evolve as the lesser sex that they are today as a result of millions of years of evolution? Are they incapable of escaping from the sad and lowly state, which they occupy today? Of course, the answer is no. Women have put themselves in this pathetic situation of their own accord. Just look at the Bible. All the women that God writes about are sinners: Eve, that prostitute that Jesus (a man) saves, and the “Virgin” Mary. They have made stereotypes and now play into them. Was there ever a man who told a woman: “Woman! You must serve me, and not think for yourself!” Of course not. Women willfully chose abuse and subordination from men. Furthermore, in the “Point”, the anonymous author clearly demonstrates my next point: women are emotionally unstable and thus dangerous. Whether it be menopause, simply a bad day, or pregnancy, women are liable to take out their random fluctuations of the hormones on anybody. The result of this is something that starts with a bee and ends in itchiness. It is clear from the scattered thoughts and irrational arguments presented, that it is “that time of the month.”

You're trying to find biblical proof for something that's simply psychological. Actually, Mary was not a sinner, and every man in the Bible except Jesus was a sinner as well.

Here's the way men and women work.
Men are instinctively programmed to go reproduce, and provide for the well-being of the family by providing it with the necessities of life (food, shelter, etc.) To aid them in this, men have greater strength and endurance. And because of this fundamental role, men are biologically required to be more aggressive so they can more easily claim said necessities.

Women are instinctively programmed to go reproduce, and nurture and protect their young by sheltering them from outside dangers. Because of this fundamental role, women are biologically required to be more emotional so they can attach themselves to their children so they are incapable of abandoning them. (And yes, many women today do abandon their children, but they suffer unimaginable psychological ramifications.)

So basically women are naturally more emotional than men. This doesn't mean they're dangerous or inferior, but they serve a different role in biology.

And a mod should move this to Critical Thinking.

So, with regard to the natural differences between the sexes, should there be a natural order (in present day) in which men go out in the world and women stay back in the home? Should we protect women as we do in some respects (such as compulsatory military service in the event of a draft), and not others, or shelter them a whole lot more than we do? What I guess I'm trying to ask is what do y'all think the woman's role is in Amercia today?

Personally, I think the differences between men and women should be respected, and the woman should make her place in the home while the man goes out and provides for the family. The roles are equally necessary, so women shouldn't be degraded or anything.

            What are y'all's thoughts?

Women are not inferior. They are not a product of devolution. Female and Male is not restricted to Homo-homo-sapiens, they are found in every species of animals.

And your biblical reference is whack since MEN wrote the Bible. Yes, men with the penis, not God. MEN (but that is another topic).

Jewpin, evolution not devolution. He thinks the role should be equally respected, but seperated.

So what if men wrote the Bible? Go and ask the ancient South Americans, the matriarch societies, and the only major difference is that they have women for priests, kill lotsa people, and worship bellies. I would say more but don't trust what I just said if you can bring it some actual info.

Joke. . . what is a joke? Phew, I'm glad you weren't serious there. Probably amusing how we responded ultra-serious to it and not until the last post did anyone actually say directly, "you are wrong"

although ironically in this backwards little town i live in, most of the chicks are more agreessive then the men, and in a town on 22 000 people i personnaly know 5 lexbians and 7 bisexuals, only 1 gay man though.
Towles may be harmfull when swallowed in large quantities
