I think that's kind of implied. He didn't preface the statement with "It is a fact that..." but the point that when medicated state>non-medicated state (in the user's mind) is when problems arise is very true.

EDIT: I mean when non medicated state is insufficient to get you through the day. Obviously medicated state is better. But when medicated state is a necessity, then there's a problem. I think anyone can agree with that.

      Re: Drugs

I got caught with a couple bags of weed and was thrown in jail for a month and given a felony and 3000 dollars in fines. Can't get a job now and most of my outer family hates me now if I even care about that part. I never did anything wrong I feel and I have plenty of friends who have stolen a bunch of stuff and done even worse things but they get off with nothing and continue being screw ups. Just wanna say I really hate the system because of my experience and practically everyone is lazy and horrible at doing a job who works at the jail and probation building. The C.O.s just treat you terribly from the start like your worthless and played computer games all day and got paid for it. The accountants are sometimes not even there and you have to wait just to pay them money for not being there to begin with. Sorry to rant but I could have easily had a job and a better future but they just want an easier buck...

Except you knowingly broke the law. I don't care whether other people also broke the law and weren't punished as badly. You knew it was against the law, did it anyway, and got caught. Sounds like the system is working just fine.

I think the point is that more serious crimes are punished less severely. Therefore the system is broken.

well I guess I threw in a few irrelevant points I was just trying to talk about my experience with the people who work there. I've always been a hard worker when I work out or had a job and it just makes me a bit peeved when I see people making way more money then I ever did slacking off and treating people like crap with their noses held higher then everyone. I know it's not necessarily like that everywhere but everyone around here knows Washington county is definitely corrupt. I definitely didn't just idly walk through this without learning a lesson but I feel like the crappy month experience in jail and a few fines would do. Nobody knows how hard it is to have a felony until you get one.

Also I feel very strongly that it's illegal for very corrupt reasons because I never hurt anyone. Look at how we came to be, we were corrupt from the beginning, slavery, unnecessary wars and that's just touching the tip. I will be here waiting for a world that can be closer to perfection and I will be one of the few people who will fight for what is right. Everything the media tells us about marijuana is thrown so out of proportion it's kinda funny to me. Just sick of all these fake politicians and government employees.

If you had "several" bags of pot, and were charged with a felony that puts you in "intent to distribute" territory.

                  Re: Drugs

yup got unlawful delivery of marijuana for consideration. It's cool if you don't agree with me practically nobody does. Even I wouldn't have completely agreed either until I went through with what I did. I'm sure I'll pull through I'm tired of everyone judging me It's just a super crappy situation for me ya know? Not only does everyone struggle with the down economy but I get a 2000 percent even less chance of getting a job cause every employer is like, oh wow what a hardened drug dealing dirt bag lets never give him an interview or a chance. Also can't move out anywhere or be on anyone's lease.

Merry Christmas BTW I feel like I'm getting a little off-put

                    Re: Drugs

I feel for you man. It makes no sense that you can commit a victimless crime and become victimized and then people say "well you shouldn't have anything to do with marijuana because it's illegal." But they don't care to elaborate on why it is illegal. And Devo you live in Canada so it's pretty much not comparable.

                      Re: Drugs

Smoking marijuana may be a mostly "victimless" crime. Dealing it has victims. Buying it can certainly have victims because you don't know what goes on before it is in your hand.

What does my being in canada have to do with seeing someone go "I was a criminal who got caught, and now people treat me like a criminal" and saying "Yup, there's a very good reason for that."

                        Re: Drugs

law enforcement is a lot more lenient towards Weed in Canada.

My opinion is I shouldn't be treated like a criminal for something I did in my private life that never hurt anybody. There's tons of drugs that are legal that kill people all the time. I think in this Democracy I live in people should be able to choose if I deserved this not make it an automatic felony because I picked up for a couple friends at the same time. Just seems like everyone's brainwashed.

"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
                          "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

No matter what you do or say, people are going to close their minds towards the trials and tribulations you're going through, that i've gone through so miserably. Unfortunately, you can't expect people to know what you're going through, because they just have no idea how much it really sucks to be in that situation day in day out. Yes, we get it people, you chose to not partake and are therefore righteous and we deserve what we got. Give me a break.
