Yes... It would be wrong to make the assumption that A) Water becomes steam at one point, and B) Water will cool on its own.

Nuclear power plants clearly don't have the means to store vast amounts of boiling water for the time it takes to cool down to ambient. They dump it into nearby lakes, causing serious thermal pollution.

        Completely false.

As for wind power, it doesn't generate enough power. On top of that, they're incredibly hard to place because 1. noise 2. they kill so many birds in many areas it's not even funny and 3. there are many hidden costs and emissions associated with wind power (production and then shipping of the parts).
Nevertheless, there is a break even point. The gas required to burn to ship and construct wind turbines can be seen as a legitimate investment if wind turbines produce enough energy to significantly offset production and maintenance costs/emissions.

They don't need to dispose of it...the water is reused.

They can't constantly be putting boiling water through all of their systems. I have no doubt they would be reusing the water if they could.

Wow...do you ever look up what you're discussing, or do you just post what you believe should be correct. http://science.howstuffworks.com/nuclear-power2.htm
If you read about it, and take a look at the diagram, you will see that MOST of the water is re-used. What isn't re-used is released as steam into the air. Boiling water isn't just thrown into a lake somewhere.
