Have you ever had a dream in class...about you sleeping in class...but in the dream where you are sleeping, you say to yourself "dude, I shouldnt be sleeping in class, WAKE UP." but you cant wake yourself up. And then the teacher starts to hand stuff out, and everyone is looking at you, and you are like "oh crap, I need to wake up!" and when you do (in real life too) you jump up only to find everyone still taking the test/reading.

That has happened to me twice. It is creepy cool because it is like...another world or something....insane.

I also have a fear of having a wet dream at school/feeling my unit while sleeping. That would suck so much.

Dear god that would suck.... Last night, I was starting to dream, can't exactly remember what, but its the same every time. And in the dream, right when I jumped, I woke up, and because I woke up in mid-jump, I sort of did a jumping motion in my bed. The strangest part is that I can't keep this from happening, and it just... happens when i least expect it

I've had similar things happen to me.
Sometimes, I'm falling asleep, and I suddenly jump or swing my arms and I'm very scared for a second, and then I wake myself up. I can never remember exactly why I do that.

And also, the other night, I was dreaming and in the dream I suddenly thought "Whoa! This is a dream, I should write this down." (I've been writing down my dreams in an attempt to have lucid dreams) and with that thought I suddenly woke up.

ok last night i had one of those...and i took a nap earlier cuz i was tired and i dreamt this was gonna be in an ffr forum...anyway, i had one of those OOBE things last night. it was very strange and i dont wish for it to happen again. i saw myself lying down in bed. i mean whatever movement i made physically, i saw. like i would move my arm, and i could see it move from up above, even tho my "spirit" body didnt move. but my eyes were still shut although i can see. and my stomach had that feeling u get on the 1st drop of a 175 foot roller coaster...except it stayed with me for a long time. and i couldnt wake up. i felt like i was dead. its too scary. and no matter what i did, i just wouldnt wake up. i moved around, moved my head, everything. i didnt wake up until my mom woke me up in the morning. i sorta just floated there for an hour, staring at my body, but the body that i saw myself from just stayed in that one spot in the same position. so in more understandable way...my physical form was moving, while the spiritual form i was floating in was just stayin in one spot. its sorta like being dead. totally scary, dont want to do it again. it was my 1st time so i dont know the proper way to do it. i dont know how it started or happened tho. FREAKY.

I only ever get light sleep dreams when I sleep more than 8 hours. Doesn't happen often.

My best way to get dreams is to not get enough sleep the night before church, go to church, and come home and go back to sleep.

              Speaking of sleep - I'm tired. g'night. :P

This is cool stuff, just read all of it including the sites linked to. i thought i was the only one. i have real problems with knowing whats real and not. I get de ja voo A LOT. it's crazy. I havent gotten up out of my dreams or anything, but i've have nightmares and stuff where i'm awake. and i know what im doing. i just don't know it's a nightmare. it seems SO real, and things that are completely rediculous make perfect sense and they rarely ever have anything to do with stuff i was thinking of before i went to sleep. Many times my alarm goes off, i turn it off...then i get up and im half way ready for school, then my mom yells at me to get up and starts pulling me out of bed...and then i have to get up and get ready for school all over again. i swear theres no such thing as reality.

In this same way, if we become fixated on a certain scientific/religious/etc belef, our mind will bend in some way in order for it to make sense. Brainwashing is very similar.

...did you read what i just wrote...or just the brainwashing part?

i said that your mind bends. When a person is held captive by criminals for a while, a certain bond forms, and the person can be told to do stuff (and in some cases be willing to help) like rob banks without argument. In courts, a person can use this as a reason not to be convicted (i forget the legal name)

I remember one time I couldnt sleep because my thoughts were scattered everywhere, so I tried as hard as I could to think one single thing. That single thing turned out to be Star Fox 64, which I had a bizzare dream of.

Moral of the Story: Dont think about Star Fox 64.
