It is a story, one of several written by the author. Most of the stories has something to do with challenging religion and potential of the human race. All good reads though.

I noticed this too. Either it was a good writer who intended to strengthen the similarities between God and man (which was a major point in it), or it was a bad writer that makes all of his characters the exact same.

or maybe God can speak at the same level and use voices that sound the same as the man he is speaking to?
