    Re: God. An interesting discussion.

When it comes to god vs science, I tend to go on the side where god doesn't exist.

However, South Park has taught me one thing, and that is it is not whether or not god exists, it is the morals to be learnt from the stories told: to be a good neighbor, to be forgiving to people, to be kind to people, and in this case, to take things some things seriously.

I'd really like to believe this story, but as God states, people won't believe it or take it seriously. Very interesting read.

        Re: God. An interesting discussion.

He definetly should have asked him for a name. I know it's an unnecessary detail, but when you meet someone for the first time, they don't say, Hi i'm Person, why would a god not have a name? Even if he is THE god. Am I the only one who wonders this?

            Re: God. An interesting discussion.

There are 6.5 billion people in the world, doubling every fifty years or so.

We are inventing new crap that could wipe the planet all the time.

All we need is one psycho (probably with some buddies) to get access to one, put his mind to it, and it's bye-bye planet.

Extremely smart writer though. Fun read.

Get out of CT. If you can't even be smart enough to check dictionary.com before posting something like that, then really.

                Also, your post is meaningless.

Also, it was a good read but it does indeed sound like fiction, much like the incredibly well written bible.

I noticed this too. Either it was a good writer who intended to strengthen the similarities between God and man (which was a major point in it), or it was a bad writer that makes all of his characters the exact same.

I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

It is not meant to be believed, it a story, one of several by the author (Harry Stottle).
