    Re: A question about gays/lesbians

Gays have AIDS more often because the HIV virus lives in blood and semen. As a butthole is smaller than a penis, during anal sex semen comes (heh...) in contact with blood. Straight people don't usually get HIV because female genitals are specifically designed to facilitate heterosexual intercourse, and therefore bleeding doesn't usually occur except in particularly violent sex.

The HIV virus lives in blood, semen, vaginal fluid, breast milk, and cowper's fluid. Moreover, the membranes surrounding both the penis and the vagina are mucus membranes. This means that they are porous, so when semen or vaginal fluid touches them, **** gets through.

This is the easiest type of anti-gay **** to debunk because it's just plain untrue, and if you're not willing to listen to facts, then go ahead, keep having straight sex and thinking you won't get HIV.

The myth: "Straight people don't get HIV."

The reality: The majority of HIV+ people worldwide are heterosexual. Men infect women, and women infect men. Risk is not about labels, it is about behavior. A 'straight' woman who has unprotected sex with men is at more risk for HIV than a 'gay' man who always practices safe sex.

Yeah well gay and lesbian couples still want to have children though so its not that likely to slow down breeding. Someone else has to do the work for them though :P

IVF is still someone doing something so that they could have children.

If there was a gay couple on an island they could not have children. If there was a straight couple on the island they have the potenial to have children (right age, working body, etc..).

And another thing i always thought that alot of people who are gay were sexually abused during childhood. I don't have any evidence but was wondering if that rings true with you guys?

I guess its just another case of the enviroment causing homosexuality.

On that environment topic. . . what of a child and his/her relationship w/the father? I've heard that can have quite a big effect.

Also out of curiosity. . . have we as humans always upheld the rules for natural selection throughout history? You know, with like, wars and stuff, or keeping people alive so much longer. . . it just doesn't seem to work the same way with us as it does in nature where there's no higher thinking. So perhaps if homosexual tendencies were in the genes, they would just be another man-made diversion from natural selection?

Then, while the baby was still growing, the changes would mess it up, causing them to like a member of their own sex or be born with a different body part than what ultrasounds would show earlier in the pregnancy.

I guess this all goes back to the environment subject...
High school teachers tend to not know **** about sexuality. Hell, 90% of anyone tends to not know **** about sexuality. I'd go look up an actual academic resource if I were you.

                    Guess what guys?

Like I said before, a lot of research shows that people who turn out to be gay start that way from birth or very early childhood.

                    Homosexuality is hormonal, not psychological.

Again, just FYI, I can personally agree with the this.
