I kinda understand what you're saying, Xception. I'm not really worried about death myself, but what does bother me is thinking about at which point in my life it will occur. I mean, I don't want it to happen while I'm young; I'll be leaving behind too many people that I care about. The emotional effect that my premature death would have on them is what really bothers me about this subject. I just want to be ready to go when my time comes.

If you want to die old you will die young. If you want to die young you will die old. I don't mean this as a threat or as a prophecy i am merely saying you will not be satisfied with the time of your death no matter when it comes

death itself, depending on who its happeninh to and where it's happening has different affects for me. if its my own death, well let's see how i die. if it's by nature, i wouldn't be scared. if I was getting gunned down, well, that might be a different story. but personally, i don't find my own death that scary. however, if friends/relatives are dying, well then, that's pretty damn scary.

Death used to scare me. Now everything but death scares me. I'm really scared of being raped or tortured. Not of dying.

I think I stopped worrying about the inevitable once I accepted it as inevitable.

Do you guys ever have little fantasies about your own death or the deaths of loved ones? I do it all the time, I imagine what I'd say at my father's funeral... and then there's my mother, who I wouldn't know what to say about. If I died now, (as if I could actually think at all), I'd be worried about how my boyfriend would be. I imagine things like, I've been kidnapped and tortured and raped to death and the police find my mangled body and list out all the charges against the guy who killed me, and I imagine my boyfriend.... feeling as though he had just died.

Maybe I'm just being optimistic in thinking he'd be completely crushed. But it's nice to think about.

Death itself doesn't scare me, the fact that there is a chance that I might not be able to live a full life scares the hell out of me. I am an extreme hypocondriac and I really need to get over that.

Oh well, it's not really something I think about often, but I don't know if I'd want to die, so I guess it's pretty scary.

Death scares me, eternity scares me, the idea that there's a god scares me. Anything I can't fathom is something i try to avoid thinking about. When all else fails, rely on ignorance.
