Re: Does death scare anybody else?
The thought of death depresses me since I am Athiest. I do not believe in Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, re-incarnation, or any other form of after-life.
Some nights I can't fall asleep due to the fact that I know someday that I won't
be around and there will be nothing. It's not an 'internal rest' because there is nothing.
And, when my mother dies there is no way I am going to be able to go through anymore school. Death is terrible. And the thought of death depresses, and scares me. I have actually cried before because I know that one day I am going to be a ****ing skeleton in the ground and no one will ever care that I was alive.

An atheist could believe in reincarnation, wondering around aimlessly etc. and still be classified as an atheist as long as they have the assertion in the disbelieve of higher deities.
