    Somebody could make a forum just for writing...

    I've noticed that a whole lot of posts here in CT are prose, some have been poetry too. It seems that there is enough to merit a forum to hold all these. After all, while writing may be intellectual, it's not critical thinking.

    I don't mean to complain, and I'm fine with the status quo; it's just a suggestion.

      I think a writing forum would be great. A place for authors to share there works and get feedback. Sadley 1/2 of that feed back will be from idiots saying how much your work sucks even though they cant write a simple story intro with out having massive brain trama.

        There has been pushing of this writing forum for a long time, as per Mal, but I have yet to hear anything about it as far as putting it into action. =/ I think it would see more activity than the programming forum has. I know I'd post a few of my own stories. =D

          Wisdom: I writing forum would be nice, but doesn't it say that you may post essays in CT?

            We are talking more of writing as a whole.

              The CT forum would stagnate then. Especially looking back at the last few months...

                Since when has writing been considered critical thinking? You could be retarded and yet enjoy a story. The only reason I am not seeing a Writing Forum made is the fact that CT would probably die even more than it has. There should be a vote or something, as I can see it being a very popular forum.

                  It is kind of sad that Mal's keeping the CT forum alive with his stories. (No offense meant, Mal.)

                  What happened to all the great discussions that used to go on here? Or am I thinking of an entirely different forum?

                      We already had our discussions on string theory, the shape of the universe, the real power of electromagnitism, the duality of nature of light... I think people burned out of the super topics when this started to become a political debate forum.

                        man i'll have to bring it back... I pretty much disagree with everyone on everything.. I'll make what looks like an inflammatory thread now, but it wil actualyl be very intelligent, but most peoplep won't look inside, and that's their fault and not mine
                        but for now... postCount++

                          As I do in every "let's make a writing forum" topic, I must agree. If there were a thread specifically for it, I'd probably be inclined to post some of my short stories.

                              Just a btw... I will always be too lazy to look if anyone else has made a similar thread before I post.
