I believe in doing whatever you like as long as no one is hurt by it.

So you're a free spirited buddist that just happens to have a computer with an Internet connection who is interested in DDR simulators?

I swear, the DDR population is an ever-growing strange one.

          What does that mean?

The DDR population was strange to begin with. Think about it. YOU MOVE AROUND ON A METAL PAD WHILE HITTING ARROWS TO MUSIC LOOKING RATHER IDIOTIC.

But that never stopped me....even when I fell off the pad while playing dynamite rave and spraining my ankle...because I am a bad-ass...and/or flaming nerd.

I've found a simple rule that will make life better for everyone: all people hold the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If you don't steal any of those three from another person (i.e. murder them, imprison them unfairly, cut off their limbs and keep them alive) then you will be fine. Although, I do have a good hint for you: people who help everyone will be successful in life. Whether that means money or happiness, it is still true. Just remember this stuff and you can never go wrong in life.

well i belive a religion is more of a way you live den belife in a god or no god
and if u were a buddist you would kno that the purpose is to find the ultimate truth and i belive the ultimate truth is that you shoud do whatever makes you happy
(maybe i should have made that clear)

                  Religion:

#1 [n] a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny; "he lost his faith but not his morality"

#2 [n] institution to express belief in a divine power; "he was raised in the Baptist religion"; "a member of his own faith contradicted him"

                  gg

PS: Beliefs are your way of life, religion is not. I am not religious because I am an atheist. That's my belief.

Religion, to put it generally, is a way of bringing a group of people together in a community. It fails, because the idealogy behind religion and the practice of it are so far apart.

For example: When did "love all thy lord's creations" turn into "kill those who oppose your religion"?

That was blatantly stolen from something, don't remeber what right now. Shame on you.

It wasnt blatantly stolen. I can't remember if it was the US Constitution or the US Declaration of Indepence, but the entire purpose of that phrase was to set a guideline for exactly how we should treat each other and the basis of our entire legal system. I used it because it is right.

okay, time for me to step in, correct people's statements whilst offering nothing new to the argument b ecause I deem it too silly with people completely missing the point.
                          Ok
                          A) I really hope . assume tny was joking about thinkign tiw as stolen from somewhere
                          B) Drac, actually believes tony, and then doesn't know where its from itself
                          C) the line itself was actually blatantly stolen from John Locke in his second treatise on civil government where he writes that all men have these inalienable rights "life, liberty, and the right to own property"

Yep, that's where it's from. I remembered the inalienable rights phrase and I was referencing it on purpose, but I couldn't remember where it was from. Anyways, it is true and it sets simple guidelines for how to live life. And it's probably one of two posts that actually responded to the original topic. Live life free, but don't forget other people exist. That's all there is to it.
