End of the World

I had a dream the other night that the world came to an end. Natural disasters of unproportional magnitude, countries going to war with their allies in fear of being attacked, in the name of protection, panic, destruction, and people in hiding.

What would you guys predict would happen if the "world came to an end." Now think about this, the senario would be, there would be a certain number of signs that would make it obvious to the whole world that the world would soon end. What would happen, do you think? Your opinions can be based off of religious teachings as well, most of those are very interesting...

Well if there were signs that the world was coming to an end then I believe there would be complete chaos in every part of the world... Stealing, Killing, and other things because they know that it doesnt matter what they do anymore...

Except when the world does come to an end i doubt there will be any sign to let us know...

I believe that if there were undeniable signs of the end coming soon, the entire world would band together to create a massive fleet of space ships to escape- people wouldn't steal or kill or other things because they know none of that stuff matters anymore and they would just be doing dumb crap.

The Bible (Isaiah) states that the end will be quite opposite. The lion sleeping with the lamb, the child who plays with the serpent without a risk, and the small child who leads it all. The end of the world, according to Isaiah, is going to be rather peaceful. A utopia.

PErsonally, I believe chaos will break out. With the world coming to an end, I think that crime rates will rise, as people won't see many consequences coming and they would like to enjoy the time they have left.

As far as a peacefull environment, i believe that will come for sure, after destruction has taken a good chunk of the population away.
Didn't the Inca's predict the world would end by Dec 23rd 2013? Or something like that.
Blood red moon, i've heard that too, but i thought that was only a mormon doctrine.

I dunno about incans, but the Mayns predicted Dec 21st, 2012. Well, not really predicted (I don't really know what to call it), but their calender year ends then, and there's no info on it since it all got destroyed by the spanish.

That's what it was, thanks Renmazuo, yeah, the Mayans were all like "the planet won't work anymore after this date, things will cease to exist" and all that kind of stuff. So awesome, i bet it will come true.

Nostradamus is an idiot...... It doesnt matter what he predicted..... The fact that he made thousands of predictions, just shows how stupid some people can be....

Hmmmm.... I have an idea.... I'm gonna predict that sometime in the year 2006 there will be clouds in the sky that will symbolize the face of someone in the current news.....

Now.... What are the chances of something like that hapening? very likely....

All I have to do is write a book with plenty more predictions, wait about 2000 years for about 80% of my predictiona to comes true, and I will become famous.....

Good point, but the Mayains had a more accurate system of time keeping than exists in the world today, which still doesn't prove that they knew, maybe they were trying to scare their people or something.

well i dunno i always had the dream where theres this huge ass meteor or what ever you wanna call it but i mean its huge and like by nightfall it comes down and like obliterates the earth

More accurate than today? Not so. The atomic clock is the most accurate clock that ever existed- I believe it loses about a billionth of a second every millenia. A rock calendar can never compare to that, it erodes.
