I remember watching this movie back in the OLD Days. It was more funny than scary. So if you are scared of spiders, Recommended movie right here. I like the find though, very interesting

I used to have a Theraphosa Blondi Goliath Birdeater back when I worked at an exotic pet shop. Spiders really shouldn't scare people as much as they do =/

I agree, spiders really aren't that bad.
But then again phobias are irrational things by their very nature, so you can only do so much to convince people.

Just gotta say, he's adorable. My local pet shop had one a while back, but I don't have the space to keep them. Plus my nan would freak the **** out.

I don't get why people are scared of them, they're so fluffy and cute. Ignore the poison :3

Goliath Birdeater venom isn't even dangerous to humans... people say it hurts about as much as a yellowjacket sting and has the same sort of effects afterwards.

Oh I mean spiders in general. Over here in the UK our native spiders are all about dangerous as flies, yet people still go crazy when they see a little housespider crawling around on their wall, or an orb spider hanging out and chilling in their garden.

Yeah it was my first job, called Pet'acular Exotics. Had some of the rarest animals on the planet there. Spiders don't even seem scary at all when you've been bitten by god damn every reptile ever. I had a Red Tegu latch onto the side of my hand for a half hour. Animals just aren't scary after working at a place like that rofl.

Random thing to bring up... XD I love spiders, have had one as a pet before and my ex-girlfriend has 2. Was considering picking up a goliath bird eating spider that my local pet shop had a few months ago, but ended up with a snake instead. Not that I'd have given it any big birds like that...
