I don't think it's legit. It doesn't seem like an official anonymous broadcast. Anonymous generally doesn't curse in their videos, and the "old timey" effect is clearly Windows Movie Maker.
Why would anon simultaneously go for major banking websites, but also PSN? Seems like something only a gamer would think significant.
But I guess we'll all find out in three days time if half of the internet gets shut down, lol.

Well, if it is them, I am really surprised over the choice of Twitter, and Facebook, and Youtube, since that's how they spread the fake links to help in the attack, and spread the messages. (well, not really, but it's one of the most major ways, anyway.)

He's right insofar as sitting around whining doesn't help much. Legislators will continue to push until *something* gets through. But SOPA was rejected this time around entirely because there was so much opposition from the people. Doesn't mean we're done yet. The next step is keeping those guys from getting re-elected. I don't think boycotting will be all that effective, especially with respect to actual mobilization.

Keeping those particular individuals from being re-elected isn't going to do much in the long run. There's about 4-deep worth of idiots waiting to take office in pretty much every level of government.

What we need is a way to just kill everybody currently over the age of 45 and then hold elections with people who actually had computers during some portion of their actually formative years.

While that seems very cold, I just wish that there was some way the politicians had no sway over what happens on the internet. They're so uneducated over it that it bothers me just a bit.
