Here's a good example that's relevant: How many times has ThePirateBay been indicted? They have "Pirate" in their NAME, chrissakes. They give about -9001 ****s about U.S law, and I don't see them sinking (see what I did there?) anywhere in the near future because a new bill has been passed or because somebody got butthurt.

I think that's because they're based in Sweden, servers and all. They can't really be touched by US government.

This is good news, but we have not won. SOPA has been pulled for redrafting.

What I would like to hear: SOPA has been destroyed and shall not be redrafted, and an amendment has been added to the constitution that human rights > copyrights also something about the writers of the bill being hung by the neck for their crimes, but i'm willing to compromise

I just wish the American govt. had some education on internet, and/or feelings. But w/e if they're going to be a govt. built on vote whoring, and little to no common sense for certain matters so be it.
