i grew up in ohio so it was always 'pop,' but moved to CA a couple years ago where it's 'soda' all over. still have to stop myself and forcibly say 'soda' every time haha no one knows wtf pop is

Pop: I rarely hear it being said as "soda"; although, I occasionally say "club soda" or "soda-pop".

I meant this in the context of word usage. In other words, I only use the word "soda" in the two aforementioned examples, whether it mean 'flavoured beverages' or 'carbonated water'.

Yes. That's the stuff. It's probably good for mixing, atleast that's what I hear. (Mixing, as in when you mix an alcoholic beverage with pop..) But alone, it tastes baaaaaad. It's not as bad as toilet water (not sure exactly, anyway, never tasted it..) but it sure tastes close.

I have vowed never again to taste club soda...carbonated water with no sugar or flavor is not my thing.

PS It's not called Club Pop
