Built it last night, not a huge computer nut so I have no idea. I'll be buying a video card soon, since this has integrated graphics.

"Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back. -

Re: How's my computer lookin' so far?
It is suitable for most people who do everyday tasks such as watch video on youtube, post on facebook and twitter, e-mail, watch movies, etc.
That is something like 80%. Could be lower."Words of Wisdom"Originally posted by someone's history teacherWatching porn is like reading recipe books without eating anythingComment

Re: How's my computer lookin' so far?
My rig is nearly identical with E6600 like you but it's running at 2.4GHz instead of 3GHz and I run most games on ultra like BLOPS and Deus Ex with some stuffed toned down. Mind you I upgraded my video card to a NVidea EVGA GTX 460. You won't really be able to play BF3 and MW3 without some choppiness though I'd have to guess. I'm holding to buy a new rig after Christmas so I can Play those games.
Basically speaking through experience if you don't want to play brand new games as of now until you get a new PC you're golden.Comment

WTF. If a computer I had access to 1TB Ram, let alone 1THz, I would shit cement trucks.Originally posted by ichliebekaseThe more gigabytes of RAM you have the better. Laptops typically have between 2-8 gigabytes of RAM but a desktop will have a lot more, going up to a terabyte or more.Comment

Re: How's my computer lookin' so far?
Wow, it's not RAM that does the work.
It's the processor.
That dual core pentium LOL
and LOL terabyte ram
get it straight man, the clock speed on RAM is more important! a 2gb stick with 800 MHz >> 4gb stick with 400MHz (theoretically speaking, i dont know any 4gb stick with 400mhz)
need to keep this for humanity's sake ROFLLLOriginally posted by ichliebekaseThe more gigabytes of RAM you have the better. Laptops typically have between 2-8 gigabytes of RAM but a desktop will have a lot more, going up to a terabyte or more.Last edited by LJRoX; 10-21-2011, 08:37 PM.Comment

Re: How's my computer lookin' so far?
More RAM =/= Faster speeds. Just allows more applications or larger applications to utilize it's space so it can run. If you have 1TB of RAM and have 500 forefoxes open you'd only probably utilize less than 10GB of RAM. Your processor would be what's slowing you down at that point.
I'm still rocking 2GB and a similar processor to yours and I'm still playing all of today's games, just think I'll have trouble with what's coming out as of now or recently. Don't listen to people say g it sucks. I can do a lot and it's budget at this point but there's not a lot of future in it unless you don't mind not playing newer games.
