Just because his company makes technology I am not a fan of doesn't mean I can't admit he was a very successful businessman and visionary. RIP Steve Jobs, nobody deserves to die at that age.

He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2004 or something. It was expected, but he did very well for someone who refused modern medicine to fight it off. He went on some weirdass diet instead.

I was also surprised at the sudden death. When someone told me "Steve Jobs died" I was so in disbelief that I had to ask if they meant "death" in the metaphorical sense. RIP Steve Jobs, your contributions to society won't be forgotten.

Although it's sad when anybody dies, and usually when somebody famous dies they hype him/her up a bit, but I haven't seen it hyped up so much in my life. They're thinking of immortalizing him in a museum beside Thomas Edison. Steve Jobs was more of a business man than an inventor/revolutionary. He took existing technology and presented it in the best way, and made it easier to use. I'm not saying anything against his character rather than just kind of annoyed with the way most people are taking him, almost making him out to be some sort of deity.
