Just got the aliant fiber up and going in nova scotia.

I'm out in the boonies now so I expected it to be really slow here.

Pleasantly surprised. Over twice as fast as my connection in Halifax o_O

What I'm currently getting:



$100 per month for that and cable. Google Fiber and their 1,000/1,000 speeds are available anytime I want, but I don't really want to spend an extra $30 for speeds that aren't that much better than what I already have. Yeah its 1,000 vs 300 but downloading shit at ~30mb/s finishes pretty damn fast as it is.
