This is the fastest internet you can buy from any provider where I live, and it's been this way since I upgraded to this speed in 2007 (when CenturyLink introduced this speed tier in my area). This same speed used to be A- grade from Speedtest.net when I got it. Honestly I don't see the need for anything faster, I can stream 1080p videos without any waiting for buffering, I play modern games without lag, and I can download 400mb anime episodes in about 6 minutes at max speed. The only way I would need anything better would be if I was hosting a fileserver. I plan on staying with CenturyLink as long as possible, they've got good speed, I don't get monitored on my web activity like some of my friends on Comcast (who pay more for slower internet), and until last year there was no bandwidth cap (now it's like 300gb/month or something lol, way more than I'll ever use).

I'm not sure how to take screenshots from my smart phone but on the same server I get 3.04mb/s down, and 0.45mb/s up, with a 88ms ping. Not bad for a prepaid smartphone


Pretty much the same on all nearby servers, though in the past I've been able to get 13mb/s down.
