Your biggest crowd (repost) - Flash Flash Revolution
I made one of those in 2009 but i cant find the search function and i bet its changed for alot of people.
So whats ur biggest crowd while playing ffr? MIne used to be 5-10 people but recently i played ffr at a college while waiting for my friend and i got 30+ people watching me do 35 goods (with misses) on la campanella. That was amazing i heard everyones thought and i knew for a few minutes they admired me. They knew i spent countless hours playing just by looking and they respected that, i knew it.
If you've never had a crowd or if u suck and people cant stand watching u play, then too bad for u :P. I bet some people have interesting stories, i wanna hear about them.
Yesterday I was out playing Supernova at an arcade and had around 35-40 people watching me, but that's DDR. FFR I've only had around 10-15 people watch me when I was back in school.
I had a huge crowd at my high school during club day of '09, when I was vice-president of the schools DDR/ITG club - had at least 50 people watching me because I had FFR hooked up to a computer that was hooked up to a projector/speakers (one of two projectors that I had access to, lol).
It was fun getting AAAs on FMOs with people watching me as if I was a freak.
I haven't had too many people watching, but the most I've had was around 8 or 9 (all but one was impressed, the one being my friend who plays this game).
But I think the best time playing in front of a crowd was just a crowd of 3, one of them being my language arts teacher. The entire class was in the computer lab typing up an essay, but I was already done. So I decided to play FFR... with my teacher sitting right next to me. No matter how fast or ridiculous the key-taps got, she never thought twice of me playing.
So I've returned. Maybe I can stick around for awhile.
Around 10-15 during science in year 9(?)... I was playing really crap but they were still impressed. I got the standard accusations of mashing/memorising hundreds of arrows in perfect order.
20-25 while I was playing on a DDR machine at a Dave and Buster's saying "how awesome I was' when I was playing on standard...Of course, that was a year ago. For FFR/SM, the biggest was probably around 15...some saying that I have no life and crap like that (others gave respect, knowing that it would take a while to play decent at it) when I was playing WC's Crunk de Gaulle before AP exams had started. Wish I had the recording of it hehe...
Only like 5-7 since I don't tend to play often with people around. I get the same "that is ridiculous", "you must play a lot" awe and amazement despite being nothing compared to the actual masters here. =P
waiting patiently for the post about "lol you play ffr in public"
I used to play at the library around '06 or '07, so that always got a small group going. I've actually played SM at a talent show when I went to church rofl, don't know if that counts but there were easily over 80 people watching.
