I (and the family) are going to be visiting this place in the summer cause we have a few relatives there.

There's nothing of much interest in Tigard imo -- it's pretty much residential. All the cool stuff is outside of it (Portland, Sherwood, etc). My favorite thing to do there was visit Mongolian BBQ, but that's about it. If you want interesting things to do, venture outward.Comment

I've been through Tigard many many times. The only halfway decent thing there is the mall.
Otherwise yeah, pretty bland place. Never ate at the Mongolian BBQ place, though.
On topic, I rub my thumbnail across my top lip, or sometimes just rub my fingers across my thumbnail/fingernails because it feels really good...probably some childhood thing I never got over.Comment

I actually do this all the time. xDD I always have, as far as I know.
I do this really weird thing with my hand/fingers. I rub them together really fast. Makes a cool sound, and it feels pretty cool too.
(Totally not sure how else to explain this. xD /fail)

Even the mall isn't all that great (if you're referring to Washington Square, that is). I only used to go there for the technology/game stores. Used to work at Nordstrom there... that was sure interesting.
But yeah Mongolian BBQ is delicious. It's an extremely humble, ordinary type of place with greasy noodles and meat+veggies, but damn is it good. There's like 10+ types of sauces and oils. And it's all unlimited.Comment

While playing handheld systems (like the DS), I will keep the TV on, even if I'm not paying attention to it.
Also, I feel like I make my mom feel stupid whenever I talk to her about technology.So I've returned. Maybe I can stick around for awhile.Comment

I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
on a real note.. i have to have the TV volume at an even number. Also i often sleep with the TV on.Comment
