            What is this babble

            They bought 1760's PS3's to hook em up into the Condor Cluster, which performs 500 TFLOPS. This is like bragging that you have the world's largest micropenis.

            There are far better ways to achieve more processing power at lower cost. The Condor Cluster is just "interesting" but it's by no means a pinnacle of efficiency or performance.

              They had shitty security. They have no excuse.

                There's no excuse for SQL injection, especially when you're such a large firm. What the heck do their security folk / coders do all day when they're storing crap in plaintext and not performing basic sanity checks?

                    IIRC they bought PS3s cause Sony sells them at a loss cause the real moneymakers are all the accessories, the licenses to game companies, the commission on games, the PSN sales (DLC, movies, TV shows, etc.). If you just buy the console alone, you get a very inexpensive high-end computer. Xbox 360 also sells at a loss, but they aren't nearly as powerful.

                        They might be more powerful, but games for the 360 are almost always more efficiently optimized. I see someone playing a 360 game, smooth. I see someone playing the same game on PS3, chug chug stutter stutter. The only games I've seen perform even remotely well on the PS3 are PS3 exclusive titles.

                        "Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
                        "That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
                        "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
                        "Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

                          The way it was explained to me, PS3 handles floating point ops better than the 360 but those aren't really such a big deal for a lot of games.

                              And it makes me wonder why we don't have hacked ISOs for PS3s so we can play any game for free yet..

                              PSP = done
                              PS3 = ??

                                btw, 360 runs games better than ps3, I should know since I've tested both of them
