    I used to work at Taco Bell. The difference isn't the content, it's the way you wrap it and the size of the tortilla.

        A well made Taco doesn't have its content fall out. It also depends on how you hold it

            @w_c, I think it's more the way someone eats it that determines if crap falls out the back or not. I'm pretty omnomnomnomn-esque so I usually got a pile of goodies waiting for me at the end on my plate.

                I really don't see any reason for debate on this at all.

                Have any of you EVER mistaken a taco for a burrito? Didn't think so.

                    I'm gonna look into this, I never really knew how to hold a taco. I also heard a burrito can be a taco if it's opened, but a taco can't be a burrito (square is rectangle but rectangle isn't square idea). I'll let you know what I find.

                    In the mean time, elmo prefers burritos and soft tacos.

                        tortilla folded in half=taco
                        tortilla folded in half with one side tucked in=wrap
                        tortilla folded in half and both sides tucked in=burrito
                        tortilla not folded at all=soggy pizza

                        you can turn any of the four into any of the other three. with the exception of hard shell taco

                            After reading PlayTrumpet's post, I don't think I've ever seen a burrito made out of corn tortilla, only flour. Even at real-mexican-taquerias. And considering the texture of a corn torilla, I don't think you could even fold it, no matter how fresh, without it ripping.

                                i make burritos out of corn tortillas all the time. you just have to heat it up for the right amount of time and not fill it up as much. think of corn tortilla burritos as midget flour burritos
