Wanted to make this thread when it began but I forgot. Now it's round two, and here are the matchups:
EASTERN CONFERENCE
Chicago Bulls (1) vs Atlanta Hawks (5)
My prediction: Bulls in 4. Even though the Hawks have been playing kinda good in the playoffs so far, I foresee a sweep, because the Hawks have been the most inconsistent team in the NBA, and Derrick Rose, the league's MVP favorite, is just too good of a closer to let them win a game at all. Of course, this could also be because I'm biased towards my home (and favorite) team heh. At least I admit it.
Boston Celtics (3) vs Miami Heat (2)
My prediction: Heat in 6. Miami's "Big Three" (James, Wade, and Bosh) are still exponentially good in terms of scoring, but the Celtics have their own cast of superstars, plus a waaay better bench, so they'll definitely give the Heat some problems. However, I think the Heat will come out through this series strong.
WESTEN CONFERENCE
Memphis Grizzlies (8) vs Oklahoma City Thunder (4)
My prediction: Thunder in 7. "Really, A2P? 7 games?" Yes!!!!!! When the Grizzlies closed out the series last night, I was sooooo so happy, because I always love a good upset story, and the way that they're playing right now, they can really become a great team in the future. However...Thunder has a deadly weapon at their disposal named "Kevin Durant." 30+ppg? That's pretty scary for a fairly young player. Still, the Grizzlies will fight, and I actually have my heart rooting for them.
Dallas Mavericks (3) vs Los Angeles Lakers (2)
My prediction: Dallas in 6. Kobe's kinda injured (although to be honest he's not slowing down that much), Gasol hasn't been playing at his best level, and the Lakers, although still a really good team, have been in kind of a slump. Meanwhile, Nowitzki is still a beast, Chandler's been having a hell of a game, and I really think the Mavs will pull through this series.
I am in no way a sports expert, but these are my predictions. Feel free to share yours!

Although I will say that a) I have watched people pick against L.A. for 11 years and 90 percent of the time, they are just flat out wrong and b) I watch a LOT of basketball, so while I may be biased, I am educated.
