Portal isn't creative? I agree most games are shit, but the gaming industry these days is kinda like the movie industry. Most movies/games are just rushes pieces of garbage rushed out by large faceless corporations, but even some of the ones rushed out by large faceless corporations are fantastic. MW2 was a fairly top-notch FPS, not perfect, but pretty good. Portal is a game that's done something completely new, while at the same time creating a light and humorous atmosphere unique to it's series. Minecraft is an excellent sandboxing game, and although I don't like it personally, it's a unique game for the creative mind. Even games like Zelda: Twilight Princess are close to being on par with Ocarina of Time, and IMO better than Majora's Mask.
