Droid had an amazing guitar tuner.

    I miss it.

Listen to me! Droid X just got gingerbread leaked out a couple days ago! It's so bad ass. Much better than the iPhone could ever be.

My Droid X Currently is running 2.3.3 and I'm liking it.

I cannot say Apple products are bad, but I just finished watching an hour long comparison of the iPad 2 and Xoom. Xoom won 7 to 2. It has many features the iPad is lacking.

And even still, Apple's notification system needs a revamp... badly....

You could say the same thing about Android. The Apps for iOS aren't any worse than the one's on the Android market, in fact I find the ones for iOS on average are of better quality because Apple has to approve every single app (not that I like that). I'd personally use far more than 6 apps if I owned an iPhone, and my dad who's more of the anti-technology type when it comes to anything but work has at least a few dozen apps he uses regularly and makes good use out of. If you don't want to utilize your phone for more than 6 other things than it can do be default that's up to you.

I ****ing hate Apple more than any corporation on the planet, but it doesn't mean I have to by default think it's products are shit regardless of the business practices they used to make it such a success..

All depends on the users lifestyle, day-to-day routine, and preferences. I spend 3 hours a day travelling on a bus, so I'm definitely going to want a bunch of apps there just to keep me entertained.

I use several apps regularly on my Droid X. SMS Bomber, Anti SMS Bomber, Ti-83 Calculator Emulator (remanmed Andy-83, and then removed from the market. When I restored my phone I had to google for the apk), Google Translate, Endomundo, Handcent, SoundHound, TeamBlackHat, Droid X and Droid 2 bootstrapper (Well the X one is uselss now for some reason, so I had to buy the 2 one), Droid Overclock, Wireless Tether (well something glitched with gingerbread and I can't use it currently), Akinator (lmao), Dolphin Browser, Google Sky Map, LoL Encyclopedia (yes lmao again), Metamorph (for applying custom themes), MusicSleep (self explanitory), Pandora, Barcode Scanner, Speed Test, Quadrant, Linpack, Where's My Droid. There are many others which I use infrequently, along with games, but those are the major ones I find myself using (or having running) daily.

oh great see now everyone is going to start listing apps and I'm going to go on a ****ing app spree

actually that is great, I'm not sure why I tried to make that sarcastic.

                        Continue.

Why would you ever need to run speedtest, quadrant, and linpack DAILY?! Those are pretty much one-time use apps.

Yeah anything you need to know about the Droid X I can tell you haha. I browse many of the Droid X forum sites way too much. Seriously though, everyone who is rooted (if your not than WTF are you doing?) should download the gingerbread 2.3.3 update. It's basically the OTA release anyway so no harm there. I mean if your waiting for custom gingerbread roms I can understand that, but otherwise come and get it, I really like it. Though it does have it flaws, it's still pretty neat to say I have.

Haha yeah, but I seem to use them a lot when I try different roms, different clock speeds, different connections etc.
