You should get steam anyways
on our nonsteam servers, all the steams have lower than 100 ping unless you're in Europe or Asia, basically outside of north America.
I need practice for 10man, I haven't gone on a 10man for a while man.. Gotta get project_kr going again (teehee)

I 10 man all the time, my clan is going CEVO so we try and practice a lot. I'll add you to my steam later on.
Nice stuff man! I have admin on 2 servers but since I'm grounded I think my clan leader took it away temporarily.
Hit me up anytime (when I get ungrounded) for a 10man.
I can be your awper x)
by anychance what's your clan name?
GB aka Golden Bullet. Since it's a steam and NON-Steam clan, there are many sub clans. We have GB, the main clan, SB which is like the new recruits, and HSE, the scrim team - Steam only. I don't see why they have all this stuff, but then again since it's a non steam server. They have to put the people who don't have steam on one team, and people who do have steam, on the other.
Yeah, I've been playing CS 1.6 for only 160 hours total and CS:S on my other account for like 3K+ hours. When I stepped into the world of 1.6, I definitely made up my mind into dedicating more time in 1.6 and no time in Source. I didn't like source after that.
I haven't heard of GB , since I just recently joined from December-ish.
You could say I imported my skills from Source, and tbh, in source the guns are much easier to kill ppl with because the recoil is really easy to handle compared to the recoil in 1.6
My clan is AiC, a steam only clan.
Short for America's illest Crew

those are the forums, basically xd
I'll check out your place in a bit
Yeah, I've argued with Source players before about recoil. They say it's harder than 1.6 I just stare at my screen and just, think "You guys are ****ing morons, have you even played 1.6?" And I play both, so I'm not being biased at all, just going based on facts. Source is easier, no matter what people say. And yeah, GB is usually well known by people who play on non steam servers. I only play on non steam because a lot of regular servers have mods on them, making them shit. Our server isn't that great either since people are hacking and lagging, but at least it's good to an extent haha.
EDIT: I noticed your clan has non-steam severs? Maybe we can have friendly scrim matches sometimes?
Ahh yea our servers are filled with hackers so I always use Lucia to catch the wallers and bury the aimbotters lol.
We should make a Counterstrike 1.6/Source thread haha.
There are many brs and spanish people in our servers, and it really ticks me off when they don't know what they're doing.
We also have a scrim team #tCf, short for "the Chosen few"
and the recoil is piss easy, if you look at a cs:s guide to recoil on YouTube, you'd realize that the bullets are almost in the same exact spot if you burst.
But if you burst in 1.6, the bullets are noticeably apart from each other.

Same as our servers, so many people who don't speak english lol. And yeah the recoil is very different lol. And I beleive a thread like that has been made before, and there really is no discussion. The FACT is that Source is easier, based on recoil, hitboxes, etc. 1.6 is harder due to smaller hitboxes, people can crouch hop/bunny hop fast and more efficiently than in source.
I love 1.6 for its crouch-hopping and bunnyhopping feature.
the awp is different in 1.6 than in source. The way it zooms in source turns me off now lol. I got used to awping in 1.6, and wallbanging is the main reason I love 1.6
I think it's impossible to crouch hop in source xd
too bad in some tournaments, it's banned lol
I don't think it's possible to crouch hop in source since the physics doesn't allow you to. When you crouch, you character doesn't "hop" he basically just stops and crouches, no mid-air at all. And yeah, 1.6 you can pull off amazing shots. And since you can wallbang, you REALLY have to be careful, otherwise you're gonna get spammed, just adds more to the challenge.
