    60/80 last time I had an exam. I need a new prescription though, it's gotten worse.

                The HDTV I have my PC connected to has like 2 settings: black, and supernova.

                So yeah I think after having this thing for 2 years my eyesight's starting to fade a bit

                    Staring at a screen does not make your eyesight worse. It will stay the same.

                        I do not have perfect eye sight, but it's not bad enough to require glasses. I can see everything well enough to be legible.

                            My eyesight is so bad my SISTER had to have Lasik.
                            eh, eh?

                            Actually, I think I'm -4.75 -4.5. My eyes used to be the same; now they tend compete to be the worst every year or so.

                            *My sister did actually have Lasik eye surgery. She didn't NEED it of course, and I have worse eyesight than her - but she did decide to have it, and it went fine..

                                    I don't know if anyone has mentioned it but they are trying to revoke the FDA approval of lasik surgery and might even ban it. Apparently there have been too many nightmare cases of people experience extreme sensitivity to light, double vision, and chronic dryness.

                                        My vision is still 20/20. However, last time I took an eye test, I barely got 20/20, so I feel like my vision is starting to go downhill...

                                                    My eyesight is not the best, but I only have to wear glasses to drive and to see the board in a lecture hall.

                                                    My parents are both nearly legally blind so I think I got lucky.

                                                    I don't personally think TV and computers damage your eyesight, my brother uses computers and watches TV about just as much as I do and he has significantly above average eyesight (without being farsighted).

                                                    I think it is more of a genetic thing generally, although I suppose computers and TV could damage it

                                                        Erm, they're bad, well for me anyway. I hate wearing glasses and contacts.
                                                        If I had the money I'd get lazer eye surgery in a heart beat.

                                                        My contacts say -2.25 and -2.50
                                                        According to Specsavers, the fact my one eye went from 2.50 to 2.25 means it's got worse, which I felt it did.

                                                        I've been needed glasses perm since I was 13.
