Photoshop randomly closing

Every time I open Photoshop and click "New" it just closes...It's really pissing me off and I have absolutely no idea why it's doing it...Help

Well I was just using it a few hours ago...And Ive used this one for a long time so Idk why it would do it now

Uh, my Photoshop 7 used to do that, as well as a few other annoying things.

I upgraded to CS4 and that solved everything; I love CS4.

It's because you acquired a pirated version that likely communicated to the home servers and nuked you. Usually you have to turn your internet off and spoof the hosts file/authentication while you install stuff like that.
