Mulie, please stop passing your opinion off as fact. How the actual meaning and definition of the word "veteran" is irrelevant in this case is beyond me.. And stop complaining in general. If you have an account with veteran status - use it. Otherwise you should just wait.


It's honestly that simple :\

I never pass off my opinion as fact. I make a point of forming all my opinions empirically. Presented with an argument surmounting my logic I will change my mind.

Veteran is a word they chose to describe what were previously subscriber benefits. We shouldn't be debating the meaning of the word veteran.

My other account doesn't have 5 billion GTS. I've actually considered farming those points; but that's beside the point: It's none of anyone's business whether I use it or not; I shouldn't have to. Don't forget all the other people that don't even have that option.

ITT: Mulie complains because she decided to make an alt instead of using her first account.

I made this account 1.84 years ago and have used it ever since. It's not an alt, it's my main.
Just for the record, my old account has 6.5 years and 1.5 billion GTS.

But in my part of the argument I wouldnt put the Vetran bar so much as 3 years by just a good requirment of points. because anyone who is going up for 3bil points is obviously dedicated regardless of time on the forum.

who the hell cares. Its fine how it is. It doesn't need to be raised and you're not gonna look cooler and more exclusive if it is raised. If you're a standout member or whatever then you're a standout member regardless of what your status says.

I am playing FFR competitively and want to see my own stats more accurately to figure out which songs to play etc. I also have no idea if i will still be playing this game in 1.5 year and/or if those features will be of any use at this point in time.

This is my main reason why I want the FFR Veteran Status. But then again, waiting for at least a year shouldn't be a major problem, even though I did have an account that's 2.5 years old, adding my age on FFR to at least 4 years. I mean, it's not a big deal, because all it is, is just something to reference to when you need to attempt and beat your personal best score and at my rate of AAAing a handful of 6's - 9's, I won't need veteran status until I turn 3. Like what Etylukah mentioned, I have no idea if I'll still play this game whenever I get the status, but chances are, I'll still be here lol

It's more like just the presence of the persons avatar seeing as how a lot of them are objects. I find it hard to take some people seriously when they avatar is something silly.

I find it hard to take any of my own posts seriously after I write them because I see my post next to my avatar.

Personally, I think the veteran status requirements are PERFECT as it is. those with 3 years and 3 billion points deserve to have it. I would like to suggest, however, that there would also be competitions to earn veteran status for members who have acquired 3 billion points but not been a member for 3 years, which gives new members a chance to earn some of these perks without feeling alienated.

I think some of the subscriber/veteran features are long overdue for a public release. Other than that, I'm ok with the requirements for veteran status. It doesn't mean much coming from me though when I'm already part of the group.
