Before this thread is closed, I just want to emphasize again how much it sucks that people like me have to arbitrarily wait so long just because it's not our first account. It sucks, and it's stupid, and I am seriously disappointed that so many people can't, or refuse to, or can't be bothered to understand that.

If I could, I'd subscribe, as I used to.

But the issue's not limited to myself. The problem is that time requirement. For a method of measurement so inaccurate it doles a pretty hefty punishment.

I am playing FFR competitively and want to see my own stats more accurately to figure out which songs to play etc. I also have no idea if i will still be playing this game in 1.5 year and/or if those features will be of any use at this point in time.

I'm a member since 5.35 years, i have 39bil combined and 1000ish posts and i'm not a veteran, yet some unknown person who made an account in 2007 and mash FC'd with 2 keyboard vROFL for 2 days who haven't logged in since and don't give a damn about the site is a veteran.

Well, I know a lot of people like you Hakulyte.. a lot of top 100 players that have well over 10bil in GTS have less than 3 years under their belt because.. they made new accounts.

Maybe 10bil or something should also grant Veteran status automatically?

Mulie pretty much came up with a good system with how it should attribued but Devonin's system is probably a better solution if we consider the coding side.
(Keeping it simple while still being fairly efficient)

10bil could probably work because it's a fair amount of time devotion in the game but what have been discussed previously is probably more accurate.

My main account is permabanned so meh.

edit: My main account only has 25 mil score while my madmatt account has 202 mil.
