I thought Veteran status would be for people who've been here a long, long time.

It is, amongst other things. But I personally don't think three years is long enough to be considered a veteran. I've seen people who have join dates as early as 2002. It should be pushed to five years... four at the least.

idk the specifics but I thought the forums were redone (switched from phpbb to vBulletin, I think?) in 03, so the earliest join date you could have had without modifying the date manually is like July '03.

I assume when they were switched, they transferred over the old profiles with the join date intact.

I havn't read the whole thread so sorry if this has been posted already; i'm wondering how FFR is going to get some revenue now, now that subscriber funds are virtually going to be non existent?

Haha thanks, I was never really a forum kind of guy, but I finally decided to give back a little and bought all the support tokens then the site went down like a month later, meh It's back now, so all is well.

Back on topic though, has any decision been made yet on how to handle the veteran status? I'm nowhere near the 3B mark, but I have it now. Perhaps they're still pulling in people who have active subbies? Or is devonin's 7 years where 1 year = 1B = 1000 posts in place now?
