Veteran status should be 4 to 5 years member. Anyone who joined before 2006 can be considered a veteran - considering how long the website has been around for.

Ive seen people get 1.5B points in 1 day! So what 2 maybe 3 days they reach veteran stat? It's highly unlikely but i still don't like it.

My opinion: Make the veteran status for those who have been here 3+ years and get of the 3B points BS.

I make an average of 1m points per song. Someone that plays a lot play a 100 songs in a day... And that's the top, I never got there myself, I usually barely do 50 in my top...

So yeah, I've seen 500 plays in a day but I've never heard of over 1500 plays in a day... 1500 plays 2 days in a row? That's ****ing insane if you ask me. A lot of people who have been playing for months have much less than 3000 plays, do you REALLY think it can be done in 2 days? 3000 games in 2 days. Really.

If it's so easy to get, why would they take it off? Also, everyone who would have made an account early and just let it sit there would be Veteran when they come back? There are many, many inactive accounts out there.

Making 300-400m in a day is pretty easy when you're a good player. But anyone that's a good player is already a veteran. For anyone else though getting 3b is no easy task

Have it stay and monitor how many people get vet status in a month. If the number is alarmingly high raise the req. If not then leave it

Plus only one person got 1.5 billion, not "people" which implies plural, and less than 10 had a billion in a day ... it's not easy.

The trouble with only having a join date requirement is inactive accounts can be veterans while people with 5 or 6 billion points could still not qualify. I think the 3 billion mark is a little low. How about a requirement to be in the top 1,000 in overall rank (right now around 4.7 billion) to be a veteran, or 3 years?

Or instead of harping over what the word 'veteran' means in the context of places that aren't here, you can consider that in the same way that FFR Elite Supporters wern't actually in any way elite, and realise that it just happens to be the word we picked.

The difficulty is in striking a balance between rewarding people who have been here a long time, and people who are very dedicated in a way that still acknowledges the alternative.

There are 5+ year people who're not actually at all active. The score requirement tries to address that. There are <2 year people who play for hours and hours a day. The GTS requirement tries to address that.

If there were a "Time spent logged in" counter for account age, I'd be all for using that, but no such thing exists.

hence why the requirement requires you to have both, not one or the other.
