So perhaps the solution to having difficulty playing with a hangover is to get high...I'll have to test this theory one of these days.

DDR/ITG/PIU Tournament Preparation Rule #8: Do not drink up to 2 days before.

To answer the question; yes, and not just an alcohol hangover/day after effect.
Oh hay I used to play ITG

Not FFRR but Dynam0 did an experiment with drinking and stepmania:

-1 score (preferably every 10 mins, I tried my best to keep on schedule...but w/e)

            Results:

Taken at 10:12 - sober score (rofl)

            Taken at 10:24 - 1 shot

            Taken at 10:33 - 2 shots

            Taken at 10:46 - 3 shots

            Taken at 10:56 - 4 shots

            Taken at 11:04 - 5 shots

            Taken at 11:21 - 6 shots

--Now this span of time is where the experiment went downhill, there was a big gap in time because at this point I didn't really care anymore, and because we ran out of rum so I went upstairs to get more booze, also my friend thought it wise to do 2 shots at a time from here on out, so here we go...

            Taken at 11:57 - 8 shots

            Taken at 12:17 - 10 shots

Now looking at these the next day I don't even remember this score, so this was blackout stepmania (shots without chasers isn't smart guys)

            Taken at 12:30 - 12 shots..?
Not even done on my profile because my friend was playing too and I apparently was too drunk to realize I was still on his account, I even used his cmod too rofl (I know it was me because he can't even pass OML sober lol)

I don't know how many shots I'd done up until then because like I said I don't even remember the score and my friends said I did alot because we had to go to the bar...yes we actually went to the bar at 12:30AM..in fact a lot of interesting **** happened that night but the moral of the story is...

            Fact: Stepmania + Booze = Skill-drop

            Now you know!
