Playstastion 2 turns 10!!!

Hard on the heels of the 25th anniversary of the Nintendo Entertainment System (October 18, 1985) comes the 10 year anniversary of the PlayStation 2 (October 26, 2000). It's cool you still buy the PlayStation 2 today and games are still produced for it.

What are some of your favorite Playstation 2 games?

This will probably be closed for being in the wrong forum, but I have to say the PS2 is probably my favorite system of all time. Especially when it came to being an RPG gamer. Disgaea was amazing.

A new PS2 bundle comes out on the 31st. It includes the PS2 version of Toy Story 3 for $99.

Are you serious? A decade of PS2? Wtf....also, Gamecube turns 9 in a few weeks, as well. I still remember turning on SSBM for the first time in November 2001 and being awed by the beautiful introduction.

My favorite PS2 game was probably Gran Turismo 4.

I loved GTA: Vice City and San Andreas(sp?) and the Final Fantasy series

I also remember having (still do) a metal dance mat for my PS2 and all the DDR games, that was epic.

It's been so long since I got my PS2 out I really can't remember what I have for it ;(

I need to finish Rouge Galaxy as well. I don't know what is wrong with me. I loved Level 5 Dark Cloud series. I could go for a next gen game by them.

I regularly use mine to play PSone games, DDR, and fighting games. Soulcalibur 2 and Tekken Tag were my favorites, haha. Can't believe it's been 10 years. I still remember when I got the PSone but not when I got the PS2 for some reason. Prolly cause the PSone was the first system we could afford back in the day... my dad loved it lol.
