When I pass somebody that is smoking I will purposefully cough loudly because I don't appreciate having to walk in contaminated air due to somebody else's stupid choice. I also absolutely hate the smell.

Huge hatting aura around here. Sure it doesn't smell nice, sure it isn't good for the health of everyone but god. You guys (everyone in general) are overdoing it. People judge the smokers as the worst kind of parasite on earth jesus. Seriously, the major reason people hate them is because of the smell. That's all. Their own little selfish selves is annoyed because of the smell so they treat them as stupid people. Bullshit. As far as I'm concerned our daily lives contributes in a way more polluting way but I don't see these same people that judge the smokers blaming themselves

I don't smoke but my mom does a lot and I've learn to deal with it a bit.

90% of my friends don't want to come at my house just because some of the rooms have the smell. What the fuck. Every single day this summer, I cleaned pit full of chicken shit and I didn't complain about it god damn-it. (ok, well, maybe a little)

Well I don't do that to anyone but my boyfriend, and I kind of have a reason to do it to him since I'm pregnant :P but I don't do the obvious coughing to anyone unless I know them well enough.

Personally i just smoke wherever the hell i please (other than most restaurants), and if people have a problem with it they can come confront me about it, which they have before haha. It truly is hard to take others into consideration when you're a die-hard smoker and in your own smoking world. /wishes he could quit

everytime i walk past someone that's pregnant i take a dump because that's how i feel about kids. this may not be society's view but this is me imposing my views on someone else because i'm genuinely upset and mentally hurt by being in the presence of pregnant people.

I didn't smoke for 6 months after posting this. I am unfortunetely smoking again after i went to a friends BBQ in the summer and got drunk. I am going to quit again when i am ready - likely to be before February.

gratz on quitting for as long as you did. Don't beat yourself up over smoking again. Quitting for long periods of time is better than not trying to quit at all.
