I'm not going to deny: until I heard the first part of your explanation, Synthlight, I had the completely wrong idea. Due to the massive amount of internet 'propoganda', which I usually refuse to believe, I had completely thought that things were exactly as they seemed. That basically you guys had given up and things were going downhill, etc etc, things we don't need to discuss now.
To be honest, I have checked for this site to be coming back up at least twice a week. I know, may seem completely obsessive, but I love this game and I love this community (although I never really posted in the forums. But hey, when I started, I was a lot younger!). It's great to see that you guys have gotten the server back up and running, despite there are bugs, and I hope to see the community grow as a whole again. I know you are not looking at it as a corporation anymore and as a hobby, and who blames you? The corporate world is a harsh, and most definitely brutal, place that most people can't handle. Of course, no offense meant, but I cannot even begin to imagine what was going through your head and and how much pressure you were under.
So, put into a nice concentrated piece, here is what I want to say now:
I thank you personally for getting the site up, and I apologize for having the wrong idea. I know that you've apologized too already, but I mean, I'm quite sure almost a lot of people have forgivven you (not the community, I mean other people). You went through a lot, you gave up a lot, and in the end you did nothing truly wrong. I have a few things I can try to help with- I'm learning Actionscript 3 right now and a few other languages, so I wouldn't mind trying to help out where I can.
Hope to talk to you sometime, and my highest regards,
