    Faces Of Death

    I don't know whether or not this should be in TGB... If a mod finds it appropriate, please move it.

    Now then, I'm an hour and 18 minutes into it. I've been GLUED to my computer screen and I can't turn away. Should I finish watching it?


    Also, who here has watched it? What did you find most shocking? So far, the most shocking part for me was the electric chair. That's all I'm going to say.

    One more thing, I'm virtually desensitized to almost anything gore. I've seen things most people cannot imagine.

      It's really not that bad (except for the part with the monkey and the hammer.. you'll see if you haven't already) if you've seen things like it before on the internet.
      My mom always told me about when she was stationed with the navy in cuba and they watched Faces of Death, and it scarred her. I can see that happening back in the 80's, when people weren't so desensitized, but now as I said I don't really think it's all that bad. I've seen it, and some scenes look pretty cheesy.

          Seen the monkey. Slightly disgusted since it's an animal an all. Have you seen that video with those guys and that hammer?

                      Faces of Death is mostly fake.

                      Mostly.

                      Some of it is real.

                      Also: this should be in Media forum. It's a MOVIE.

                      ps Blu-ray of this. Way overpriced considering the technical quality of the material (some of it is sourced from consumer level VHS, right?), but it's actually cheaper than the DVD version of the same.

                          As for it being mostly fake, I didn't suspect a thing until I saw the part with the alligator and the guys on the boat. Then I was like yeah ok that looks so real I'm gonna go tell everyone how real it is, really. Funny thing is, that's the main part of the shock my mom was upset about.

                              Faces of Death was pure lol start to finish for me. I've seen every volume... if you want some more stuff to desensitize you, send me a PM .

                                  Meh, I kind of wish we didn't live in such a desensitized society today. Maybe things like pantie shots would be a lot more arousing.
