I figured I was the only one that bowled that way, nice to see someone else out there who bowls unconventionally.

I know a lot of people who bowl like that. Its preferred mostly by people who are just starting out here in New Mexico.

I'm an okay bowler. Average 160's and high game 225, i think. I bowl kinda similar to Chris Barnes. In fact I taught my self how to bowl watching him on tv and some youtube videos.

I use to be insane at bowling as a kid (have quite a few bowling trophies above me right now,) but slowly stopped playing as I got into hockey.

I use to bowl on a league. The way I bowl is two handed like Jason Belmonte. The highest game I bowled on the league was 266. After that I just started going down hill and after going to college I have been bowling twice...

My average is in the 210's right now because I'm slumping. Left handed: Dominately straight bowling, but can throw out if need to. Bowled 300 a few times, high series is 793. I usually bowl house pattern, but I can play on competitive oil patterns as well; averaged 210 on Viper, 225 on Cheetah, 215 on Shark, 200 on Chameleon, 190 on Scorpion...

i love bowling. i actually used to go to a bowling camp which was basically super reduced prices and you got to free bowl every for like 5 hours for a week. and they would teach you techniques and stuff(like 12-15 years old)

but bowling is super fun, i havent bowled in years. I'd pick it up again if it was free

scorpion's usually the hardest that 44 foot oil pattern can be killer if you don't slow down that ball speed.

my highest is 131 just to give you an idear. it's 3 balls about the size of your fist and 10 pins. gl.

I used to bowl a lot more when we had two lanes instead of one.
My average is about 140ish and my high game all-time was somewhere around 220ish.

I also really love the xtreme bowling (with the black lights and whatnot) and I go duck-pin bowling when I'm in Maryland visiting the relatives Pretty damn enjoyable

I wasn't ready for shark today. Didn't find out until about 3rd game.

What ball's do you guys use?

Mine are el-cheapo's: Rubber and Urethane balls I picked up for $2.49 at Salvation Army XD Both are finger-tipped and just dominate for me. I still use my 3 year-old plastic Columbia 300 that I got for $80, it's my 7 pin spare ball. I use the rubber on wicked oily lanes and urethane on dryer lanes.

I bowled in high school in Illinois. My sophmore year I averaged 185 (JV), 202 my junior year (Still JV because two of the coach's sons were on varsity with a 180 and a 182 average), and a 214 my senior year.
The coaches must not have liked me, because I averaged 214 in the year and sat the bench for sectionals; I was pissed after that. The team didn't move onto state that year even with four people over a 210 average. Piss poor coaching ruins good talent.
My high game was a 286 (9/ ten strikes and then a freaking 6 count....) and high series was a 777 (high game was not in this series). I shot 555 after my first two games and then shot a 222, which I realized when adding up my scores =)
I don't bowl nearly as often anymore at college because I haven't had time to with 20.5 credit hours of classes and practicing to do.
I have a blue plastic ball for my spares, a solution for my strike ball (oily) and a twenty year old werewolf for dry lanes. I through straight down the second arrow and hook it in usually, but move my feet left when the lanes get dry.
My dad started me bowling when I was five, and I throw pretty much the same shot he does. I've bowled for years, but would be a little rusty if I went bowling right now, probably 170 range.

I bowl on a league regularly but your averages put me to shame, i just started this year i have a average of about 125, i don't know how to hook the ball, was never taught and can't teach my self ( i tried, i failed xD) oh well i enjoy it a lot though. I have a high game of 167 by the way.
