    Re: religion/science

    stargroup are you retarded

    1. THE CONCEPT SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH LIFE FULFILLMENT. Life fulfillment is a purely human-relating utilitarian concept. Has nothing to do with universal truth. Good luck pointing out "fallacies" Mr. Hollow Argument Who Isn't Addressing the Relevant Questions.

    2. Do you even understand what logic is. Also note the lack of question mark here.

Way to refute an argument without actually giving an argument.

      Re: religion/science

I've already said everything in a previous post, there's really nothing to dispute

the fact that this guy is actually arguing against it and still trying to debate that god doesn't exist is simply hilarious and by this point I don't really care whether I'm making sense or not because you can't explain these kinds of things to people who will never get it

also I hope you realize that we are mortal beings with emotional, mental, and psychological traits that cannot be explicitly defined by logic

this is the sole reason why your argument lack maturity and is therefore WRONG

edit: do you even realize that I'm agnostic/athiest lmfao

          oy what a dumbass

then for an atheist you're ****ing retarded

We are mortal beings, yes, we have emotions, yes, cannot be defined by logic, incorrect.

Again you're not bringing up anything directly countering my points. Your future at Yale looks bright, young one -- you're gonna have to try harder than that

              Re: religion/science

This is exactly what I mean. Most people don't have a damn clue what they're talking about. "Oh, but religion helps people etc." Anyone who ever brings that point up instantly signals to everyone that they are not to be taken seriously in the atheism/theism discussion.

                    Re: religion/science

Even the concept of random can be defined by logic.

Just because something is perceived as random doesn't mean it is.

How do you think computers generate a random variable? Is it actually random? They use an oscillating crystal that pulses around 47,000 times per second to keep track of the computers system clock. They use different algorithms to generate a number from the system clock but it still all done through calculations and logic.

We might not know exactly what causes peoples different emotions. Probably because it is almost impossibly difficult to calculate the small electrical impulses in the brain.

The point being is that just because there is something you don't understand doesn't mean there isn't a reason behind it.

Finally someone who understands one of the arguments behind randomness and determinism.

why don't you try to flex some intellectual muscle for once and step up to the plate rather than responding with half-baked defense mechanisms.
