Alright, so as I was browsing the forums I got a special idea. Why not have a contest to see who can carve the coolest pumpkin? Well, here is your chance to do just that for credit prizes!
The Competitions
I will be setting this up into 3 separate competitions.
1: FFR Pumpkin: The coolest FFR related pumpkin will win 50,000 credits. Take any aspect of the game and represent it on YOUR pumpkin! The FFR guy, arrows, maybe even colored lights in your pumpkin to color the arrows? The options are only limited by your creativity!
2: Coolest Pumpkin: Just the coolest pumpkin in general. Make it detailed, make it crazy, make it your own! Coolest pumpkin wins 30,000 credits!
3: Most Creative Pumpkin: This is probably going to be won by somebody who goes above and beyond the average carving of a pumpkin. What did you do to make your stand out from the average joe pumpkin? Winner gets 20,000 credits.
Submission
Well, unfortunately people will try to cheat, so this is the best way I can think of to verify you in fact made your pumpkin. Each submission needs to have a few things. The first image needs to be a plain photo of just your pumpkin. Make it easy to see and obvious in design. I will also, need one additional photo with your pumpkin accompanied by a piece of paper with the date, the thread title, and this phrase "FM54 KNOWS PUMPKINS" written on it. All must be fully legible. Anyone suspected of cheating will be confronted and given a chance to redeem themselves through any process I determine at the time.
Judging
Judging will be completed through a multi-step process. I will decide the top pumpkins in each section. These pumpkins will go up for judging from a 3 judge panel that will be determined soon. The winner will be verified by me and the panel and awards will be given accordingly!
Final Details
Have fun with this. I want lots of participants and lots of cool pumpkins. This starts now and goes until October 31st at Midnight EST. Allow for 24-48 hours of judging time and then the winner will be announced. I really want this to be fun and who knows, maybe this will be made front page? Doubt it, but the recognition would be cool! Do this with friends, family, whoever. I just want to see what FFR's people have up their sleeves for this Halloween! Up to 3 submissions per person. No one person will win more than one prize.
