Re: I've regained confidence in humanity..
i know. i mean, the moment your daughter begins to ask for something like this, you know you have to worry.
on the same subject: i was at the mall the other day and there was this kid shouting "but daaad! it costs 300 euros! i like it!" and the dad moaning about the kid liking that stuff (i'm guessing it was about clothes) BECAUSE IT WAS EXPENSIVE, not because of its value as an object.
i tell you, marketing does wonders to little kids.

"That's the beauty of music.
They can't get that from you...
Haven't you ever felt that way about music?
Here's where it makes the most sense:
You need it so you don't forget.
Forget that...
there are places in this world that aren't made out of stone,
that there's something inside...
that they can't get to,
that they can't touch,
that's yours"-Andy DufrenseComment

Re: I've regained confidence in humanity..
Posts like that don't make you cool, at least say something on topic as well..
/offtopic
If your kid asks for it, you brief them on how uncool it is.. If they whine and complain then a small punishment would (should) shut them up.
P.s. I'm Spanish so I go with the whole 'its okay to slap your kid if they deserve it' thing (Not abuse).Comment
