        on the same subject: i was at the mall the other day and there was this kid shouting "but daaad! it costs 300 euros! i like it!" and the dad moaning about the kid liking that stuff (i'm guessing it was about clothes) BECAUSE IT WAS EXPENSIVE, not because of its value as an object.

        i tell you, marketing does wonders to little kids.

                        P.s. I'm Spanish so I go with the whole 'its okay to slap your kid if they deserve it' thing (Not abuse).
