What are you talking about? I've had boyfriends. Amanda...if the guy cheated on you...you dump him. Guys aren't trustworthy...its plain and simple. If you like this other guy, and he treats you well...you're probably going to have it a lot easier with someone you'll be happy with, with this guy. Why make it hard on yourself and try to live with someone who has done something behind your back? Before you start dating this other dude...let some time between the relationships...just incase you need some 'healing' time. Don't waste your time on the cheater, history will repeat itself.

People arent perfect and deserve second chances, so if he seem sincere (sp?) then give him another shot.

Cheating is inherently dishonest...
If you lie to someone and then the next day be like "oh btw, that was a big fat lie", that doesn't change the fact that you lied the day before.

Cheating.. my friend did that once on his girlfriend.. he came out and told her and they've been together for another month or two.. He did it because he's a dumb guy, a little mistake.. depends on the kind of guy.. if you're seriously happy with him then give him another chance.. If he's not the greatest thing then dump him..

Yay for the forum nice guy finally finding the thread.

I will tell you this, Amanda. If this guy cannot keep his pants on, he is not what you want. You can take it from me, or take it from my friend Dez. She is now 2 months or so pregnant, by a guy she's now discovered had someone else on the side. She got an ultrasound the other day, and just because she was trying to be nice, she told him she'd show him if he wanted to see them. He then responded by saying she's the worst thing that ever happened to him, she ruined his life, etc.

Situations here are different, of course, but the fact remains stupid men REMAIN stupid. Do yourself a favor and become celibate for the next couple of years (Something tells me you're not out of high school yet.)

If you want someone to talk to a little more personally about all this, I'm always open. Send a PM, bug me on AIM or Yahoo, etc. I'd love to give any advice I could.
