      I've managed to memorise the first 112 digits of pi. Skimming through the "What are you doing at your school to celebrate pi?" discussion page, pretty much every response is the same. It amuses me how original their ideas are, circulating from selling pie for $3.14, bringing pie in for the students, and set mathematical trivia, almost certainly related to pi.

      I really don't understand hosting a holiday, for the mathematical constant pi. I mean, its recognised enough as it is already.

      Doesn't matter though. Happy pi day, kids!

                          ahh yes i remember this.
                          a few years ago i downloaded a program for memorizing pi just typing it in, and the moment you got a wrong number, it stopped you and showed you the next 5 in the sequence. Got up to 150 then just kinda stopped =/

                          but it was a good way to impress my friends
                          happy pi day!

                                                  I feel that memorizing Pi is a little useless, although I suppose it's a good test of your memory and you can brag about it. >_>
