Never been a fan of ear buds. I can't wear those things for more than 5 minutes without pretty bad ear pain.

Instead, I own a pair of headphones. Skullcandy GIs. They're like this speaker set I just bought...but for your ears.

Great quality, and pretty good noise cancellation. If you have these on your head and your music up about halfway, you can't hear a thing from the outside. Perfect.

dude those look amazing... way better than my earbuds. But the earbuds i have dont really slip and or cause a pain, they are really good with noise canceling and you can have them in your ears and it wont faze you after a while that you have them jammed into your ears. Anyways how much were they and what are they ?

I have some Creative surround 5.1 set. Not sure how big the bass is. But it's purty nice. Pisses off my parents and the other tenants in my apartment complex. I love it

I've tried multiple types of ear buds and they all hurt my ears equally the same. I have no choice but to use headphones.

I said it in the post that you quoted, but they're Skullcandy GIs. They're DJ headphones for the most part. I got them for $70 off their website which I posted earlier in the thread for phoenixblade. Yeah, they are pretty expensive, but way worth it, imo.
