Never been a fan of ear buds. I can't wear those things for more than 5 minutes without pretty bad ear pain.

Instead, I own a pair of headphones. Skullcandy GIs. They're like this speaker set I just bought...but for your ears.

Great quality, and pretty good noise cancellation. If you have these on your head and your music up about halfway, you can't hear a thing from the outside. Perfect.

I have a pair of skullcandy headphones, but they aren't all gay looking with stupid ****. And i took whatever remaining little dohickys off of it. Headphones are headphones, nothing stylish.

I have the ones in the OP hooked up to my computer. (the second ones, logitech z etc.) They are absolutely amazing especially for the price, it's pretty cheap Those speakers should drown him out just fine I'd think. I only go about half way then the fan in the livving room starts shaking

And the price is just unbelievable for what you get. Hands down the best 2.1 speakers you can buy for under $200. I'm super happy.

I've had a similar issue with the room above me, they really rowdy or something and bang on the floor a lot. Ive gone up there a few times and they just play stupid. Unfortunately i cant fight back because they are above me. Oh well, next year i reserved a room for the top floor in the corner. Little a chance as possible for people to annoy me.

I lived in this exact situation last year with dick heads like that above me. I used to never think a lot about beer pong, but after hearing ping pong balls hit the floor above me for hours and hours on end, I can't stand it anymore. They also liked to blast their reggae music as loud as possible.

This year, I got a studio apartment on the 3rd floor. It is very much an improvement, aside from my new neighbor who I'm dealing with right now.

I can't blast music to loudly. But when my siblings blast it over mine I get up and rudely tell them to turn it down or I'll smash the system. It only works, 'cause they know I'll do it without caring.

We don't have loud music in my neighborhood so that's the best situation I can give. I use some ****ty 20 buck ones from Wal-Mart and because of my hatred of bass, I tend to turn it off.

I spent 45 dollars on my phillips stereo set with a subwoofer and it kicks ass. I have airbass too my neighbors can hear me inside their house when I play my music it's insane for the price.

Maybe next pay check I could care less about my monitor size. I'm a cheap man as you can tell I have a 19" HD TV that actually doubles as a PC monitor on just to the right of my bed I don't need anything else right now.

I just need to get the VGA cables to turn it into my monitor and it also has an output for PC speakers so I got it made. I'm just too lazy to start the transition right now plus I have my ps3 hooked up to it.
